JAPAN | 59 Day 9. Mt. Fuji, Hakone. Enjoy a tour of Mount Fuji and Hakone. Take a cruise around Lake Ashinoko. This evening, enjoy a range of dining options. BLD Day 10. Tokyo. Meet with Grandma Hiroko and try your hand at cooking traditional cuisine. BLD Day 11. Tokyo. Transfer to the Port of Yokohama. Here, migratory seabirds soar, whales glide beneath the crystal-clear waters, and bears freely frolic on shore. From your ship, watch as snow-capped peaks give way to rocky cliffs and waterfalls cascade into the sea. BLD Day 15. Korsakov (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk). Ruled by Japan between 1905-1945, Korsakov is a place where both Japan and Korea left an imprint on Russian culture. BLD After being tendered ashore, take delight in a tour of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, or enjoy a train journey to Lenin Square (own expense). Day 16. Otaru. Otaru is known for its fine cuisine, historic architecture and fine charms- including the scenic beauty of Hokkaido's west coast. BLD Experience the best of Otaru with a city tour. Or travel to neighbouring town Sapporo and explore (own expense). Day 17. Hakodate. Hakodate is a fishing port famed for its high quality produce.
