Venice, Ljubljana, Lake Bled Travel to Ljubljana in Slovenia, where you'll take the historic funicular up to Ljubljana Castle for a guided tour. Then, with some free time at hand, perhaps take a walk through the city's charming squares and marketplaces. Continue your journey this afternoon to Lake Bled, a glacial lake situated in the foothills of the Julian Alps. Lake Bled Visit Bled Castle to take in its commanding views over the town of Bled. Then take a traditional boat across the lake to St Mary's Church of the Assumption on Bled Island. Split, Dubrovnik On a guided tour, see a range of Split's attractions, including the Roman ruins of Diocletian's Palace, the city's Roman square, the Cathedral of St Dominus and more.
