Paris This morning, fling open the door to some of Paris's best-loved sights on a tour, where you'll take in the Arc de Triomphe and Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Then ascend the Eiffel Tower, where sweeping vistas and French cuisine await. The afternoon and evening grace you with endless options for exploration of this fabulous city. BL Day 3. Paris Today, you're bound to fall head over heels for the City of Love with a day at leisure. Will you enjoy a whirlwind romance with the bohemian fervour of the Latin Quarter? Or cement an enduring devotion to the art of the Louvre Museum? Or perhaps you'll become enamoured with the Seine River, as you take a stroll along its banks towards the legendary gothic cathedral, Notre Dame. Paris, Amsterdam, Embark Ship Say 'au revoir' to the passionate city of Paris after breakfast as you board your coach and traverse the stunningly beautiful landscapes of northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Arrive in Amsterdam to board your river ship, where you will remain overnight in the heart of the city within easy strolling distance to the iconic sights. 8 Day (EUTCM08) guests join the tour in Amsterdam. Amsterdam, Utrecht Clustered by historic houses and studded with low bridges, Amsterdam's network of 17th-century canals lends the city its nickname – Venice of the North. Today, you'll board a glass-top boat and glide past the city's impressive waterside facades. Back on land, enjoy some free time before travelling by coach via Rembrandt's Windmill, immortalised in the artist's paintings, to Utrecht. From here, your ship will set off along the Rhine as you enjoy a special Gala Dinner. BLD Day 6. Cologne, Brühl As you cruise into Cologne, watch as the magnificent twin spires of its famous cathedral, the Kölner Dom, appear on the horizon. Disembark and take a short drive to the town of Brühl. Pay a visit to World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Castle and Falkenlust hunting lodge, the lavish rococo-style residences of archbishop-elector Clemens August. Enjoy a guided walk through the flowering gardens between the castle and the lodge, where the archbishop would come to practise his favourite sport – falconry. Return to Cologne and enjoy some time to wander through the city at leisure.
