40 Day 1. Arrive Calgary Your journey begins as you are met at the airport and then transferred to Banff. Later this evening, you will have the opportunity to meet your Tour Director and get to know your fellow guests at a special Welcome Reception. Two Nights: Banff Park Lodge. Day 2. Banff Spend time exploring the charming town of Banff on a tour. Then later, to discover the full extent of Banff's remarkable natural beauty, ride the Banff Gondola along Sulphur Mountain for incredible views over the whole town and surrounding district. Perhaps embark on an incredible helicopter adventure, enjoy great views as you take a Bow River float trip or set off on a Banff Experience which includes a visit to Johnston Canyon (see page 94). B Day 3. Banff, Lake Louise Today, journey along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, which parallels the Continental Divide. You will then board an Ice Explorer for a memorable ride onto Athabasca Glacier. Settle into The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This evening, enjoy time to relax amid the iconic and stunning surrounds of Lake Louise, which is one of western Canada's most well-known natural attractions. Stay: The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. BD Day 4. Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and settle into your carriage as you embark on one of the world's most famous rail journeys. En route to Kamloops today, enjoy the region's incredible alpine views and natural landmarks. See the famous Spiral Tunnels, as well as monumental Kicking Horse Canyon, before arriving in the town of Kamloops late this afternoon. Once here, relax and enjoy your evening at leisure to explore. Stay: Kamloops, hotel assigned by Rocky Mountaineer. BL Day 5. Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver Rejoin the Rocky Mountaineer and continue your rail adventure west towards the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, enjoy incredible front-row views of Fraser Canyon, the Coast Mountains and Fraser Valley. Late this afternoon, arrive in Vancouver, your home for the next two nights. Check into your hotel and enjoy time to relax. Two Nights: Vancouver, Marriott Pinnacle Hotel. BL Day 6. Vancouver This morning, discover Vancouver's best-loved attractions on a sightseeing tour, including the Waterfront, Gastown, Granville Island and Stanley Park. Enjoy this afternoon at leisure to relax or explore the city further. Later this evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow guests. BD Day 7. Vancouver, Embark Cruise 7 Day guests (URBWB07) depart the tour after breakfast. After a leisurely morning in Vancouver, board your premium cruise ship for the next part of your journey. Seven Nights: ms Volendam. BD Day 8. Inside Passage Enjoy a full day at sea at the beginning of your incredible journey.
