Leave as ordland experts after learning the origins of Norway's most popular beauty spots at the Fjaerland Glacier Museum. Then put your new local knowledge into practice on a breathtaking mini cruise of Sogneord. The Kviknes Hotel awaits, a charming chalet style property. BERGEN Day 15: Monday 24 July The boat to Flam awaits this morning and promises yet more plunging cliffs, millpond waters and exquisite vistas, truly something to awaken all the senses. After lunch, there's nothing like a scenic rail journey to put the romance back into the day and as the Myrdal tracks take us up hill and down dale all you have to do is look out of the window. At Myrdal we change to the Bergen Railway and full steam ahead to our last stop for the day. Arriving into Bergen this evening, we arrive at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Bergen, our home for the next two nights. BERGEN Day 16: Tuesday 25 July Take the funicular to enjoy the view of Bergen from Florien Mountain without the legwork this morning. Back at ground level we have the afternoon at leisure to admire the city sights of Bergen; watch the boats on Vagen Harbour, peruse the local art at the KODE galleries or get lost in melody at the Edvard Grieg museum. Experience Chef Steffen Romerheim's 'Meteorological Menu' at the world famous Cornelius restaurant tonight. For a place that specialises in seafood, it's only fitting we reach our dinner destination by boat for a night that sparkles with delicious culinary innovation.
