Marvellous Wildlife

The Bungle Bungle Range
Largely unknown until the early 1980s
except by the local Indigenous community
and pastoralists, the unique beehive-like
domes of Purnululu National Park's Bungle
Bungle Range are now an absolute
must-visit when journeying to the
Kimberley. Their striking black and orange
striped sandstone formations rise 578
metres above sea level, creating a majestic
sight in the vast plains, particularly when
the sun sets.
