54 Day 14. Geikie Gorge, Broome. Travel to Geikie Gorge National Park and explore the incredible landmark. Flooding of the river has bleached the walls white over time – an intriguing sight that makes it popular with photographers. Later, you will board a unique cruise and learn about the Indigenous Banuba people in the area and hear timeless stories from the Dreamtime. Discover bush medicines and view sacred sites as the towering Geikie Gorge rock-face passes by. Later, arrive in Broome. Stay: Broome, Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa. BLD Day 15. Broome, Embark Cruise. After a morning at leisure in Broome, it is time for the next exciting part of your journey. Board your expedition small ship for your Kimberley Coast Cruise. Settle in to your cabin, before savouring a decadent meal as your cruise commences. Ten Night Stay: MS Caledonian Sky. BD Day 16. Adele Island, Buccaneer Archipelago, Nares Point. Arrive at Adele Island today, an important area for breeding seabirds like the Lesser Frigatebird and the Brown Booby. Later, cruise through Buccaneer Archipelago's islands before arriving at Nares Point for a relaxing sunset cocktail. BLD Day 17. Yampi Sound, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls. Cruise through Yampi Sound before heading to Talbot Bay, known for its massive 12-metre tides that create the unique Horizontal Falls. Subject to tidal conditions, embark on a high powered fast boat ride here. David Attenborough described the phenomenon as "one the greatest natural wonders of the world." You may also get to see Tawny Nurse Sharks. Later, take a Zodiac ride through Cyclone Creek. BLD Day 18. Raft Point, Doubtful Bay, Montgomery Reef. Visit a Wandjina art site at Raft Point before a Doubtful Bay cruise. From your Zodiac, witness the magnificent Montgomery Reef 'rise' out of the ocean as tidal waters cascade into the surrounding channels and discover the reef's diverse marine life. BLD Day 19. Careening Bay, Prince Regent Reserve, St George's Basin. This morning, head out on an excursion to explore Careening Bay, where Phillip Parker King was forced to beach his damaged ship HMC Mermaid in 1820. While here, you will also see the bay's Mermaid boab tree. Later, you'll visit Prince Regent Nature Reserve, a significant protected natural area of the Kimberley. After time discovering this area, you'll take a picturesque cruise through St George's Basin. BLD Day 20. Prince Frederick Harbour, Hunter River.
