Enjoy the day at leisure in Darwin before transferring to your elegant ship, the MS Caledonian Sky. Enjoy a sunset sailing from Darwin and savour a sumptuous dinner on board later this evening. Ten Night Stay: MS Caledonian Sky. BD Day 17. At sea. Today you have the opportunity to become familiar with your expedition ship with a full day at sea. Relax and enjoy the many public areas available to you including the Sun Deck and the Panorama Lounge which features a bar and floor-to-ceiling windows. BLD Day 18. Koolama Bay, King George River and Falls. Wake up in Koolama Bay, named after a merchant ship bombed by the Japanese in World War II. Arriving at King George River, the highlight is sure to be King George Falls, the highest single drop falls in Western Australia which plunges approximately 80 metres over a magnificent sandstone cliff. BLD Day 19. Vansittart Bay, Jar Island. With your Expedition Team, walk across salt flats to view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3 which crash landed on the beach during World War II. Later, visit Jar Island and discover the island's outstanding rock art gallery. See examples of the Kimberley's mysterious Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) paintings, dating back some 20,000 years. BLD Day 20. Bigge Island. Off the coast of the Kimberley, approximately 6 kilometres from the mainland, Bigge Island is filled with fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities. The island is well known for its Indigenous Australian rock art, which was created by the Wunambal people. Witness the sheer escarpment of the Cockburn Range at El Questro Wilderness Park kimberleywilderness.com.au
