50 Day 1. Arrive Santiago (Chile). On arrival, explore Santiago on a city tour. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Reception. Two Night Stay: The Singular Santiago. Day 2. Santiago, Freedom of Choice. Travel to the port city of Valparaíso and set out on a guided tour. Alternatively, enjoy a tour and tasting at the Santa Rita winery. BL Day 3. Santiago, Buenos Aires (Argentina). Fly to Buenos Aires. On arrival, enjoy a tango lesson and a selection of tapas. Three Night Stay: Buenos Aires, Alvear Palace Hotel. B Day 4. Buenos Aires, Freedom of Choice. As part of your city tour, enjoy coffee and a snack at the iconic Café Tortoni. Later, explore the barrio of La Boca, then wander the streets of Palermo to La Recoleta Cemetery. Tonight, choose where to dine. BD Day 5. Buenos Aires, Freedom of Choice. Perhaps travel to the island town of Tigre for a cruise over the Paraná Delta; explore the Parisian influence on Buenos Aires during a walking tour; or head to Teatro Colón, one of the finest opera houses in the world. B Day 6. Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Fly to Rio de Janeiro, where life pulsates to an intoxicating rhythm. Three Night Stay: Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana Palace. B Day 7. Rio de Janeiro. Ascend Corcovado mountain to visit the Christ the Redeemer statue. At sunset, ride a cable car to the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain, stopping mid-way to enjoy a caipirinha and the sweeping view. Spend the evening dining on a delicious Brazilian BBQ. BD Day 8. Rio de Janeiro, Freedom of Choice. Today, choose to embark on a tour through the favelas; venture deep into Tijuca Forest; or enjoy a colonial tour of the city. B Day 9. Rio de Janeiro, Iguassu Falls, Freedom of Choice. Board your flight to Iguassu Falls. Perhaps take a boat ride beneath the thundering cascades or soar over the falls during a helicopter ride. This evening, dine at the Ipê Grill within your hotel. Two Night Stay: Iguassu Falls, Hotel das Cataratas. BD Day 10. Iguassu Falls. Spend time in World Heritage-listed Iguassu National Park on the Argentinian side of the falls. Ride the Rainforest Ecological Train to a series of walkways and viewing points. Return to your hotel, located just a stroll from the falls. B Day 11. Iguassu Falls, Lima (Peru). Walk through the giant aviaries and get up close to a range of native South American birds at Parque das Aves Bird Park. This evening, board your flight to the Peruvian capital, Lima. Two Night Stay: JW Marriott Hotel Lima, Ocean View Rooms. B Day 12. Lima. Enjoy a sightseeing city tour before visiting the World Heritage-listed Historic Centre of Lima. Afterwards, visit a private hacienda where you'll enjoy lunch, live music and a graceful Peruvian Paso horse show. BL Day 13. Lima, Cusco, Chincheros, Sacred Valley. This morning, fly to the World Heritage-listed city of Cusco. On arrival, travel to Chincheros and witness a traditional weaving demonstration. Continue to your hotel, overlooking a river in the Sacred Valley. Three Night Stay: Sacred Valley, Tambo del Inka, Luxury Collection by Starwood. B Day 14. Sacred Valley, Freedom of Choice. After a morning at leisure you may select from two activities that showcase the traditions and culture of the local region.
