Later you'll reboard and journey to Würzburg, to visit the city's Residential Palace and local churches of various styles. You may choose to take an optional excursion to travel along the Romantic Road to the medieval town of Rothenburg (see page 49 for details). Day 11. Wertheim. Today, travel to Wertheim for a walking tour of the town's historic landmarks. Like a Local – here, you'll learn the art of pretzel making at a local bakery. Later, reboard your ship and cruise downstream enjoying an onboard glass- blowing demonstration along the way. Day 12. Rüdesheim, Koblenz. In Rüdesheim, ride the Winzerexpress mini-train to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, home to Germany's most remarkable collection of automated musical instruments. Later, cruise through the magical scenery of the Rhine Gorge to Koblenz, where you'll be able to enjoy a post-dinner stroll around the town. BLD Day 13. Cologne. Your cruise continues down the majestic Rhine River towards Cologne and its towering spires that dominate its skyline. Here, you'll enjoy an informative sightseeing tour as well as a Taste of Cologne – a visit to a local brewery to sample some of the city's boutique beer. BLD Day 14. Amsterdam. Today, you arrive in the colourful Dutch capital of Amsterdam, famous for its network of 17th-century canals. Board a glass-top boat and glide past the city's impressive waterside facades. During one final evening on board, you'll enjoy the chance to recount stories of your cruise at a Farewell Dinner. BLD BLD Day 15. Disembark Amsterdam, Paris. You traverse the landscapes of the Netherlands, Belgium and northern France on today's journey to the French capital of Paris, a city which represents the very essence of France. Stay (Three Nights): Paris, Crowne Plaza Paris-République. Day 16. Paris. BLD This morning, you'll open the door to some of Paris' best-loved sights. On a city tour, take in the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, as well as the Arc de Triomphe and more. A Taste of Paris – you then ascend to the second viewing level of the Eiffel Tower, where sweeping city panoramas and a lunch of delicious French cuisine await. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this romantic city. Day 17. Paris. A city of romance, culture and breezy boulevards, Paris is known to rejuvenate the senses. Armed with the insight provided by your Travelmarvel Tour Director, enjoy the whole day to explore independently. Tonight, perhaps you'd like to take the opportunity to visit the famous Moulin Rouge, birthplace of the can-can, for a dinner and show (see page 49 for details). Day 18. Depart Paris. After breakfast, farewell 'The City of Light', as you transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
