92 Day 1. Arrive Rome. Arrive in Rome before midday and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, join a local guide for a tour, taking in some of Rome's famous sights such as the Colosseum and the Piazza Navona. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. Two Night Stay: Rome, Hotel Bernini Bristol. D Day 2. Rome. Explore the Vatican on a tour that takes you through the Sistine Chapel. Later, see some of the city's early Roman sights, including the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. B Day 3. Rome, San Gimignano, Florence. Travel to the medieval town of San Gimignano. Over a light Tuscan lunch, you'll taste locally made olive oils, delicious antipasti and regional wines. Continue your journey to Florence and pay a visit to the Galleria dell'Accadamia, where exhibits include Michelangelo's statue of David. Two Night Stay: Florence, Grand Hotel Villa Medici. BL Day 4. Florence. Today, explore the city's sights on a guided tour. BD Day 5. Florence, Valpolicella, Venice. Journey through the Valpolicella wine region. BD Day 8. Innsbruck, Lucerne. Discover the alpine city of Innsbruck with a local guide, taking you to the famous Golden Roof and the imperial palace.
