Travel into Bosnia and Herzegovina and on to the historic city of Mostar. On arrival, take a guided tour and learn about the city's tumultuous history. Two Night Stay: Mostar, Hotel Mepas. BD Day 5. Sarajevo. Journey to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On arrival, you'll embark on a guided tour taking you to the sights along the Miljacka River. B Day 6. Mostar, Split, Freedom of Choice. Travel to Split where a tour will take you to the charming harbour area and Diocletian's Palace. You'll also visit the Roman Square and wander along Cardo and Decumanus streets. Tonight, choose to dine at your hotel or at a local restaurant, the Adriatic Graso. Stay: Hotel Park, Split. BD Day 7. Split, Plitvice Lakes National Park. Discover the magic of World Heritage- listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. Tour the blue-green lakes, connected by a series of cascades and thundering waterfalls, before a relaxing cruise. Tonight, enjoy a BBQ dinner within the national park. Stay: Plitvice, Hotel Jezero. BD Day 8. Plitvice, Ljubljana. Departing Plitvice this morning, you'll cross the border on the way to Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana. Set out on a sightseeing tour, taking in the graceful Opera House, the University of Ljubljana, the National Theatre and Ljubljana Castle at the city's centre. Later, enjoy a cruise down the Ljubljana River, accompanied by music and a glass of sparkling wine. Two Night Stay: Ljubljana, Grand Hotel Union Executive or similar. BD Day 9. Ljubljana, Lake Bled. Following breakfast this morning, journey through spectacular countryside to the Julian Alps. Visit the glacial Lake Bled and see Bled Castle, located on the lake's north shore. Later, cruise to Bled Island, the only natural island in Slovenia, and explore its 15th-century church. B Day 10. Ljubljana, Zagreb. Today, head for Zagreb, Croatia's lovely capital.
