13 Day Europe's Rivers & Castles Paris to Prague 3 Nights Paris | 7 Night River Cruise from Remich to Nuremberg | 2 Nights Prague France | Belgium | Luxembourg | Germany | Czech Republic Visit the fairytale-style Reichsburg Cochem, on the banks of the Moselle River TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR OF OUR FLEET ONLINE www.aptouring.com.au Day 1. Arrive Paris. On arrival, be met at the airport in Paris and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is then yours at leisure. Three Night Stay: Pullman Paris Montparnasse. Day 2. Paris. This morning see the sights of Paris, including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Avenue des Champs Élysées and more. The rest of the day is at leisure. This evening, perhaps attend a cabaret show (own expense). Day 3. Paris. Enjoy today at leisure to further explore the beautiful French capital. Day 4. Paris, Luxembourg, Remich. Travel by high-speed train into the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. On arrival in the city of Luxembourg, enjoy a tour. 8 Day (EUH08) guests arrive in Luxembourg and are transferred to Remich. In Remich, board your river ship and tonight enjoy the Captain's Gala Welcome Dinner on board. Seven Night Stay: an Aria River Ship. Day 6. Cochem OR Koblenz, Rüdesheim. Today travel to Cochem for a tour including a visit to Reichsburg Cochem, a towering castle overlooking the Moselle River. Alternatively, explore Koblenz on a walking tour. Then re-board your ship and cruise through the Rhine Gorge along the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine. On arrival in Rüdesheim, tour Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. BLD B B Day 7. Mainz & Frankfurt OR Heidelberg. This morning choose from two options. Perhaps take a tour of Mainz that includes a visit to the Gutenberg Museum, then travel to Frankfurt for a tour of the Old Town Square. Alternatively, choose to travel from Mainz to Heidelberg to visit the red-walled castle. Enjoy views of the Neckar Valley and see the Great Vat, a 49,000 gallon 18th-century wine cask. Day 10. Bamberg. After breakfast, disembark and travel by coach to World Heritage-listed Bamberg. Here, perhaps take a guided tour, which will reveal to you the attractions of this lovely city, including a tasting of the famous Rauchbier (smoked beer). Alternatively, set off on a guided bicycle tour of the city. Return to your ship, which then enters the Main-Danube Canal, which links the North and Black seas and is recognised as a feat of modern engineering. BLD BLD BD Day 5. Trier, Bernkastel. Having entered Germany, you'll arrive in Trier and enjoy a tour that includes the Roman Baths and the Roman Amphitheatre. Then continue along the Moselle to Bernkastel and enjoy a vineyard visit, walking tour and a wine tasting, After dinner, take a walking tour through the old town centre with its medieval and Renaissance buildings. 112 Day 8. Miltenberg, Freudenberg, Wertheim. Still in Germany, arrive in Miltenberg and enjoy a tour of this lovely Franconian town. Then travel by coach to Wertheim and enjoy time at leisure to explore before re-boarding your ship. Or perhaps enjoy a guided bicycle tour from Freudenberg to Wertheim. BLD Day 9. Würzburg, Kitzingen. After breakfast, arrive in Würzburg. During a tour, see the Resi dential Palace and more. This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure or take an excursion to Rothenburg (own expense). Alternatively, you may like to enjoy a guided bicycle ride from Würzburg to Kitzingen. After dinner, disembark in Kitzingen for a wine tasting. Day 11. Nuremberg, Disembark Ship, Prague. This morning 8 Day (EUH08) guests depart the tour with a transfer to the airport. Those remaining will take a guided tour of Nuremberg that includes the 900 year-old ramparts that surround the city, the Imperial Castle and more. Afterwards, board a coach and travel into the Czech Republic and on to its capital, Prague. Two Night Stay: Hilton Prague Old Town. B BLD Day 12. Prague. A tour of Prague begins today with a trip to World Heritage-listed Prague Castle. Visit Saint Vitus' Cathedral then stroll over Charles Bridge on the way to the city's Old Town. Explore the Old Town Square before the evening is then free for you relax or further explore. Day 13. Depart Prague. After breakfast this morning, your holiday concludes and you're transferred to the airport. BLD B B THROUGH 5 COUNTRIES TRAVEL
