Tour Lyon or see a French cooking demonstration. Then enjoy a silk-making demonstration as you cruise. On arrival in Trévoux, a tour includes a private walk through Hotel de Ville (Town Hall). Day 3. Trévoux, Beaujolais region, Vienne. Today travel through the Beaujolais wine region, the Pays d'Or. After visiting the medieval hilltop village of Oingt, head to Pascal Gayot's Domaine de la Logère, a family-owned and run winery. Here, a member of the family will take you on a tour and host a wine tasting. Later, your ship will cruise onto the Rhône River. Day 4. Vienne, Freedom of Choice Inclusions, Tournon. Tour Vienne by mini-train or visit Chateau de Rousillion and enjoy a pottery demonstration. Then, cruise to Tournon. Day 5. Tournon, Freedom of Choice Inclusions, Viviers. This morning, visit a local vineyard on Hermitage hill for a guided walk among the vines with a local expert, followed by a wine tasting. Alternatively, travel into the Ardèche Mountains to Boucieu-le-Roi. Here, tour a family-run goat farm and sample goat's cheese. Later, on arrival in Viviers, enjoy a 'ghost walk' after dinner, or stay on board for a nougat-making demonstration. BLD Day 6. Viviers, Grignan, D Avignon, Freedom of Choice Touring. Travel Grignan then visit a truffle farm. Head out in search of truffles then enjoy a tasting of these delicacies. Afterwards, cruise to Avignon and tour the Palace of the Popes or visit the Pont du Gard. Tonight, head to a local restaurant for a traditional Provençal dinner. BLD Day 7. Arles, Freedom of Choice BLD Inclusions. From Arles, tour a castle in Les Baux de Provence then visit an olive mill and farm for a tour and tasting. Or tour the olive farm first then visit Saint Paul de Mausole Asylum, where Van Gogh spent many of his latter years. Afterwards, see Arles' Roman relics. BLD BLD Day 8. Arles, Disembark Ship, Barcelona. Disembark in Arles, where 8 Day (EUPC08) guests transfer to the airport in Marseilles. Remaining guests travel into Spain, via Camargue and Perpignan to Barcelona.
