This evening, discover why Paris is known as the City of Light during a lovely Welcome Dinner cruise along the beautiful Seine River followed by a Paris Illuminations Tour. With today at leisure to relax or explore independently, ask your APT Tour Director about the activities that might interest you. Perhaps go for a stroll along the boutique- lined boulevards, sip coffee in the Latin Quarter or go for a wander along the famous Rue Mouffetard. This evening, you may like to visit the Moulin Rouge (own expense). DISCOVER MEDIEVAL BRUGES Day 4. Paris, Bruges. Today depart Paris bound for Belgium and the beautiful city of Bruges. One of Western Europe's most visited cities, Bruges is home to an array of well- preserved medieval buildings which are linked by the city's network of canals. On arrival here, enjoy a uniquely Belgian experience – head to a traditional pub to sample some world-famous Belgian beer and mussels. Two Night Grand City Stay: Bruges, Crowne Plaza Hotel. Day 5. Bruges Sightseeing. Get a unique look at Bruges from the water this morning as you set off on a canal cruise through the city's heart. Afterwards, a guided walking tour will take you to see the historic attractions of the city's World Heritage-listed centre. Wander the Burg and the Markt – two interlocking central squares flanked by medieval-style buildings, and visit the 12th-century Basilica. Afterwards, visit a local chocolate shop to sample famous Belgian chocolates, before the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. B D BD B B TRAVEL TO AMSTERDAM, EMBARK CRUISE Day 6. Bruges, Amsterdam. This morning, travel to Antwerp, once the richest city in Europe. After time to look around, continue on to the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Here, board your luxury river ship and settle in.
