Day 9. Pinhão, Régua, Vila Real, Bitetos. Cruise back to Régua today for a trip to the Palacio de Mateus, located just outside the city of Vila Real. On a tour of the palace, admire the beautifully designed furniture from the 16th to 18th centuries, and discover the story of Mateus Rosé wine, with which the palace has long been associated. Take the time to explore the gardens with their lovely topiary work and impressive cedar tunnel before returning to your ship for lunch as you cruise to Bitetos. Tonight, head to the 14th-century Alpendurada Monastery. Here, savour a glass of Port wine and breathtaking views of the river valley from the terrace before indulging in a sumptuous home-cooked meal. This evening, your ship remains overnight in Bitetos. Vila Real Porto North Atlantic Ocean Fatima PORTUGAL Sintra BLD Day 10. Porto. Today, arrive back in Porto, a city that traces its origins to pre-Roman times. Here, a tour will take you to a selection of 16th-century arcaded buildings and Baroque churches as well as the magnificent iron bridge built by French engineer Gustave Eiffel. You'll then drive through the elegant residential section along the Atlantic coast and explore the Old City before time at leisure. This evening, return to your ship for a Farewell Dinner.
