DAY 2: Santiago Half-Day Tour with Santa Lucia Hill & Bali Hai Folk Dinner Show A morning pick-up from your hotel gets the day started, taking you past many landmark areas and buildings such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, municipal building, National History Museum, and more. Have lunch on your own, then use the afternoon to explore or rest up before the evening Bali Hai Folk Dinner Show, where you'll be treated to local dishes and wines. A ride back to your hotel is provided. DAY 3: Half-Day Winery Tour Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel to take you to the Concha y Toro Winery, the largest of its kind in Chile. Here, you'll learn about the wine storage process and have the opportunity to buy your favorite vintages afterward. DAY 4: Santiago/Puerto Montt Transfer from your hotel in Santiago to the airport and fly to Puerto Montt, where another transfer will take you to your hotel in Puerto Varas, a city well known for its German traditions and its seafood, casino, and opulent hotels. DAY 5: Full-Day Tour of Frutillar Near scenic Lake Llanquihue and Puerto Octay lies the town of Frutillar, a town settled by German pioneers. Lunch after touring the landmarks is made more charming by the lake, and the remainder of the day is at leisure once transferred back to your hotel in Puerto Montt. DAY 6: Puerto Montt/Puerto Natales Arrive at your selected hotel in Puerto Natales, a German and British town in the Chilean Patagonia. Founded in 1911 as a port for the sheep industry, it is better known as the entrance to the famous parks you'll be visiting the next morning. DAY 7: Full-Day Tour of Torres del Paine National Park Spend the day at this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, escorted by a guide that will pick you up at your hotel. Countless attractions await, including the park's namesake 12-million- year-old towers and the Milodón Cave, where a life-size statue of the extinct mylodon, a prehistoric ground sloth, is located among fossils. The rest of the evening is free. DAY 8: Departure Say good-bye to this unique country as a transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home.
