Or perhaps visit Vittoriosa then head for Marsaxlokk to wander the market and sample some local produce. BLD Day 10. Mazara del Vallo. On the island of Sicily, arrive in the ancient city of Selinunte within Mazara del Vallo. Enjoy a guided tour of the acropolis, eastern temples and the ruins. BLD Day 11. Cagliari, Freedom of Choice. Enjoy a walking tour of the ancient city of Cagliari. See the terraced Piazza del Palazzo and the Cathedral of St Cecilia. Otherwise, enjoy a wine tasting at a third generation operated family winery and learn about the fascinating story of the property. BLD Day 12. Alghero, Freedom of Choice. Travel along the coast to Neptune's Grotto by private boat. From here, explore the fascinating grotto with a tour of the caves that date back to prehistoric times, or join an excursion to Bosa at the mouth of the River Temo. BLD Day 13. Mahon, Freedom of Choice. Choose from a fully accompanied snorkelling excursion in Fornells Bay, where you will be taken out to a sheltered location. Alternatively, enjoy a tour of the old fishing village perched on a natural harbour, as well as visit to the spiritual centre of Monte Toro and the stunning whitewashed buildings of Binibeca. Anchor off the beautiful town of Soller, from where you will choose your activity. Perhaps take a vintage tram ride to Palma, absorbing splendid mountain views of the Serra de Tramuntana. Alternatively, if you're feeling more active, embark on a hiking tour towards the Mirador de ses Barques, where your climb will reward you with stunning panoramic vistas.
