93 BOTANICA WORLD DISCOVERIES Day 6. Belfast, Freedom of Choice. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Belfast. This afternoon, choose to visit the Titanic Exhibition or perhaps head to Mount Stewart, an 18th-century house and garden in County Down. Here, a series of outdoor 'rooms' and vibrant parterres contain many rare plants that thrive in the mild climate of the Ards Peninsula. Enjoy time to also explore the opulent house, which boasts a fascinating heritage and contains world-famous artwork. BLD Day 7. Portmeirion, Bodnant Garden, Freedom of Choice. Cruise into Holyhead with a full day to explore. Visit Portmeirion, designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975. Choose from a tour of the village and its gardens or the gardens of nearby Plas Brondanw, the family home of Williams-Ellis. Afterwards drive through the famous Snowdonia region to Bodnant Garden. BLD Day 8. Dublin, Freedom of Choice. Arrive in Dublin Bay, where you will choose from three activities. Travel into the Wicklow Mountains to admire the gardens of Powerscourt; explore the private garden of Helen Dillon; or visit Mt Usher Garden. On your return to Dublin, enjoy some free time to explore at leisure. BLD Day 9. Waterford, Freedom of Choice. From Waterford, you'll have the choice of two full-day tours. Perhaps travel to Mount Congreve Gardens, a visually inspiring woodland garden, followed by a visit to Lismore Castle. Alternatively, discover Kilkenny as you explore Kilkenny Castle and the Design Centre, followed by a tour of the Waterford Crystal Factory. BD Day 10. Isles of Scilly, Tresco. Today will see you cruising amid the beautiful Isles of Scilly, an archipelago off Great Britain's southwestern tip. Disembark on the island of Tresco, leased by the Dorrien-Smith family, who have created a wonderful 40-acre sub-tropical garden near their Tresco Abbey home. You'll have the chance to go for a relaxing stroll down the traffic-free lanes and wander along one of the lovely white-sand beaches. Return to your ship for lunch and afternoon tea, before a Farewell Dinner tonight. BLD Day 11. Disembark Ship, Portsmouth, London. After breakfast this morning, disembark your ship in Portsmouth, then be transferred by coach to London, arriving at Heathrow airport around 11.30am or the St James Court Hotel in Central London around midday.
