30 Day 1. Arrive Perth. On arrival in Perth, transfer to your hotel and set out on a city tour. Take a guided walk through the spectacular Botanic Gardens of Kings Park, then enjoy a Welcome Dinner and get to know your fellow travellers and Tour Director. Stay: Mercure Perth. FD Day 2. Perth, York, Wave Rock. Early this morning, 13 Day (TSW13) guests join the tour. Set out across the Darling Ranges on the way to York. Like a Local – enjoy a tour of this historic town. Continue to Hyden and visit Wave Rock, a prehistoric rock formation in the shape of a giant surf wave, rising 14 metres high. Stay: Hyden, Wave Rock Hotel. BD Day 3. Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie. Journey through the wheat belt on the way to Coolgardie, the site of Western Australia's original gold rush. Continue on to Kalgoorlie, where more than half of the gold mined in Australia is produced, and see the 'Golden Mile', said to be the richest square mile in the world. Stay: Ibis Styles Kalgoorlie Plaza Hotel. BD Day 4. Kalgoorlie, Lake Lefroy, Esperance. Enjoy a morning at leisure in Kalgoorlie, before heading for the white salt wonders of Lake Lefroy. Take in the dramatic colours, then continue on to the beautiful seaside town of Esperance. Stay: Esperance, Comfort Inn Bay of Isles Motel. BD Day 5. Esperance, Pink Lake, Stirling Range National Park, Albany. Take in the sights of Esperance, including Twilight Bay and the incredible Pink Lake. Then, drive through the Stirling Range and meet a local wildflower expert to learn about what is known as one of the richest areas for flora in the world. From Bluff Knoll, see the jagged peaks towering over bushland that's dotted with wildflowers in the spring. Later, arrive in Albany. Stay: Albany, Dog Rock Motel. BD Day 6. Albany, Valley of the Giants, Busselton. Head to the top of Mt Clarence this morning and enjoy views over the Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. Explore Albany, then experience the incredible Valley of the Giants, a world-famous forest of gigantic tingle trees. Special Stay – indulge at Abbey Beach Resort, nestled on the shore of Geographe Bay. Stay (Two Nights): Busselton, Abbey Beach Resort. BD Day 7. Busselton, Margaret River Region. This morning experience the spectacular formations on a tour at Ngilgi Cave. A Taste of Western Australia – delight in an exclusive factory tour and sample handmade chocolate bars at Gabriel Chocolate. Next stop is Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse where you'll take in stunning panoramic views from the top balcony. A Taste of Western Australia – enjoy a tasting and tour at Palmer Wines, whose vineyard was one of the first in the Margaret River region. BD Day 8. Busselton, Fremantle.
