30 Day 1. Arrive Perth. On arrival in Perth, transfer to your hotel and set out on a city tour. Journey through the wheat belt on the way to Coolgardie, the site of Western Australia's original gold rush. Continue on to Kalgoorlie, where more than half of the gold mined in Australia is produced, and see the 'Golden Mile', said to be the richest square mile in the world. Stay: Ibis Styles Kalgoorlie Plaza Hotel. BD Day 4. Kalgoorlie, Lake Lefroy, Esperance. Enjoy a morning at leisure in Kalgoorlie, before heading for the white salt wonders of Lake Lefroy. Esperance, Pink Lake, Stirling Range National Park, Albany. Take in the sights of Esperance, including Twilight Bay and the incredible Pink Lake. Then, drive through the Stirling Range and meet a local wildflower expert to learn about what is known as one of the richest areas for flora in the world. From Bluff Knoll, see the jagged peaks towering over bushland that's dotted with wildflowers in the spring. Later, arrive in Albany. Stay: Albany, Dog Rock Motel. BD Day 6. Albany, Valley of the Giants, Busselton. Head to the top of Mt Clarence this morning and enjoy views over the Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. Explore Albany, then experience the incredible Valley of the Giants, a world-famous forest of gigantic tingle trees.
