Bigge Island, Careening Bay. Visit Bigge Island's ancient Wandjina and Bradshaw rock art. Spend some time at leisure wandering Careening Bay. Early explorer Phillip Parker King named the bay after his ship, the HMC Mermaid, which was careened for repairs during his second of four voyages navigating Australian waters. With a knowledgeable guide, you'll journey to the site of the iconic boab tree engraved with 'HMC Mermaid 1820', miraculously visible almost 200 years on. BLD Day 18. Montgomery Reef, Doubtful Bay. Today you'll experience a truly magical moment when Montgomery Reef rises out of the ocean as the tide recedes. Discover the reef's diverse marine life including turtles, manta rays and reef sharks. Later, cruise through scenic Doubtful Bay, where rugged cliffs rise from the sea. BLD Day 20. Kuri Bay, Raft Point, Ruby Falls. Cruise Kuri Bay, home of the south sea pearl industry.
