97 Day 6. Mitchell Falls, Helicopter Flight. Discover Mitchell Falls' beautiful cascading waters and Aboriginal art. When available, local Indigenous guides will join you. Begin with a guided hike to Little Mertens Falls and view rarely seen rock art. Continue on to Big Mertens Falls and then see the fantastic Mitchell Falls at their best on an included helicopter flight. Should you prefer, hike back with your guide. Longer helicopter flights are also available at an additional expense. BLD Day 7. Gibb River Road, El Questro Wilderness Park. Leaving the magnificent Mitchell Plateau, rejoin the Gibb River Road. Your adventure continues as you ford the Durack and Pentecost Rivers where saltwater crocodiles inhabit the deceptively calm waters. Travel to El Questro Wilderness Park, a one million acre property of rugged wilderness in the heart of the Kimberley. After lunch, head to the beautiful Zebedee Springs, a permanent natural thermal spring tucked away in a secluded pocket of rainforest. Return to Emma Gorge and enjoy dinner later this evening. BD Day 9. Purnululu National Park. Covering almost 240,000 hectares, Purnululu National Park is home to an amazing array of natural phenomena. It's been around for 350 million years and has long been inhabited by local Indigenous people, however the striking Bungle Bungle Range was a secret from the outside world until 1983. Be amazed by the magnificent sandstone formations along the way to Echidna Chasm, a natural cleft with its striking colour variations depending on the angle of the sun. Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge. BLD Day 10. Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge. Explore the magic of Purnululu for yourself, and discover the depth of the Bungle Bungle Range. Marvel at these majestic beehive formations and enter the natural amphitheatre of Cathedral Gorge, a spacious cavern where the acoustics are astounding. Ord River, Lake Kununurra. Travel through rugged red landscapes to Kununurra, the gateway to the eastern Kimberley and the home of the Ord River Scheme, one of Australia's greatest engineering feats. Cross the border into the Northern Territory on the way to Nitmiluk National Park. Step aboard the unforgettable Katherine Gorge Cruise. Your guide will reveal the region's magical highlights.
