Day 14. Geikie Gorge, Broome.
Travel to Geikie Gorge National Park and
explore the gorge. Flooding of the river has
bleached the walls white over time – an
intriguing sight that makes it popular with
photographers. Board a unique cruise and learn
about the Indigenous Banuba people in the area,
hear timeless stories from the Dreamtime,
discover surprising bush medicines and view
sacred sites as the towering Geikie Gorge
rock-face passes by. Later, arrive in Broome.

Day 15. Broome, Board Ship. Board your
expedition ship and enjoy the Captain's Welcome
Cocktails as you cruise towards Cape Leveque.

Day 16. Lacepede Islands. Visit the Lacepede
Islands, a series of low islands atop a platform
reef. Board a Zodiac and explore the island's
lagoon, keeping an eye out for many species of
marine birdlife. The islands are also renowned as
Australia's most significant breeding grounds for
the Green Turtle. This evening, get to know your
fellow travellers as you enjoy the Captain's
Welcome Cocktails. BLD
Day 17. Buccaneer Archipelago,
Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls. Enjoy the idyllic
white sands of Silica Beach before heading out
through the Buccaneer Archipelago, home to
more than 800 islands. Continue towards the
stunning Talbot Bay, known for its massive
12-metre tides that create an amazing spectacle,
the unique Horizontal Falls. Subject to tidal
conditions, you will embark on an exhilarating
ride through the falls on a jet boat. BLD
Day 18. Doubtful Bay, Raft Point,
Montgomery Reef. Cruise through the dramatic
Doubtful Bay, with cascading waterfalls plunging
into the ocean below. Explore the spectacular
natural phenomenon of Montgomery Reef and
watch in wonder as the reef is revealed with the
falling tide. As Australia's largest inshore reef,
a stunning array of marine life is on offer here.
Back on board, perhaps enjoy a drink before
indulging in a sumptuous dinner. BLD
