37 Day 5. Oudtshoorn, Knysna. Like a Local – visit an ostrich farm this morning where, on a tour, you'll enjoy the chance to feed an ostrich by hand, and watch an ostrich race by local jockeys. Afterwards, follow the picturesque Garden Route to Knysna, which is a charming coastal town situated between lush forests and the shores of a peaceful lagoon. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure to relax or explore Knysna and its surrounds. You may choose to make your way down to Knysna Heads for a spectacular view of the lagoon and the mighty Indian Ocean. Stay (Two Nights): Knysna, Protea Hotel Knysna Quays. B Day 6. Knysna, Featherbed Nature Reserve. Like a Local – enjoy a visit to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, a pristine piece of paradise on the Western Head of Knysna which is only accessible by ferry. Once you have crossed the lagoon, you will be joined by a park guide in a custom-designed 4WD for a journey to the top of Western Head, stopping for stunning views of the lagoon, mountains and Knysna itself. Afterwards, perhaps participate in an optional bushwalk through scenic coastal forest and fynbos into mysterious and fascinating ancient sea caves. B Day 7. Knysna, Port Elizabeth. After breakfast this morning, depart Knysna and continue along the Garden Route. Like a Local – stop to visit Monkeyland Primate Reserve, the world's first free-roaming multi-species primate sanctuary. Later, continue along the Storms River Mouth in Tsitsikamma National Park. Then journey through the coastal reserve of Tsitsikamma Forest on the way to Port Elizabeth, one of South Africa's largest cities. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay: Port Elizabeth, Beach Hotel. B Day 8. Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg, Kruger National Park. This morning, transfer to the airport and board an included flight to Nelspruit via Johannesburg. Once you've touched down in Nelspruit, travel by coach to the unique Shishangeni Private Lodge in an exclusive concession of Kruger National Park. Special Stay – at Shishangeni Private Lodge, unwind in your individual suite with a private game-viewing deck. Once you've settled in, head out with an experienced tracker and guide on your first African game drive and experience the thrill of looking for the wildlife of Africa up close. A morning game drive offers you the chance to spot one or perhaps all of Africa's Big Five along with other animals. Escorted by a wildlife guide and tracker, travel through the lodge's private concession of land in Kruger National Park, keeping a close eye out for these animals. During leisure time, perhaps make use of the lodge's facilities or relax on your private deck. A Taste of South Africa – today ends with an authentic outdoor boma dinner. BLD Day 10. Kruger National Park, Johannesburg. After breakfast this morning, enjoy another opportunity to view the wildlife of Kruger National Park on a game drive. After, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg, where you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay: Johannesburg, Radisson Blu Sandton. B Day 11. Johannesburg, Livingstone (Zambia). After breakfast, take an included flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone in Zambia. Check into your hotel, minutes from Victoria Falls. This afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to this majestic landmark where the falls plummet to a chasm below. Later, enjoy dinner at your hotel. Stay (Two Nights): Livingstone, AVANI Victoria Falls Resort.
