47 27 DAY AFRICAN HIGHLIGHTS WITH EAST AFRICA Day 17. Arusha, Tarangire National Park. Set out by 4WD to your camp, with incredible views over Tarangire National Park. Spend time relaxing before your first game drive. Two Night Stay: Tarangire Balloon Camp. BLD Day 18. Tarangire National Park. The quiet plains of Tarangire National Park are home to wildebeest, zebra, buffalo and impala, but are most famous for the annual elephant migration. Watch for these gentle creatures along with a host of other animals on morning and afternoon game drives today. If you're lucky, you may see the unusual dwarf mongoose and gerenuk, though sightings are very rare. BLD Day 19. Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater. Meet the children of a small school in Tanzania before continuing to your lodge, set close to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you have the chance to take an optional game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. Watch the sun dip behind the crater walls before dinner this evening. Fly to Livingstone in Zambia and settle in to your hotel, nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River. Take a short walk across your hotel's lawn to Victoria Falls.
