Disembark and transfer to a small boat for a journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau. Cruise past a floating fish farm, then disembark for a rickshaw tour of Tan Chau. Later, step back in time during a visit to a local evergreen island and see authentic rural Mekong life. The remainder of today is then spent on board at leisure. Perhaps take in a fruit-carving demonstration while border formalities are carried out as you cross into Cambodia heading towards Phnom Penh. BLD Day 22. Phnom Penh. Alight in Phnom Penh and embark on a moving excursion to the infamous Killing Fields, before visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, located on the site of the Khmer Rouge's notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21). Here, learn of the atrocities inflicted upon Cambodians during Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge regime in the mid-to-late 1970s. This morning you'll enjoy a small-boat excursion into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. After some time cruising, reflect on the days that have just gone by as you indulge in a Farewell Dinner aboard your ship. BLD DISCOVER THE TEMPLES OF ANGKOR Day 26. Disembark Ship, Siem Reap, Freedom of Choice. Once ashore, head to the World Heritage-listed Angkor Archaeological Park to visit the capital of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, and admire the Bayon temple.
