38 38 Day 1. Arrive Beijing. Be transferred to your hotel before a Welcome Reception tonight. Three Night Stay: Raffles Beijing, in a Business Room. Day 2. Beijing, Freedom of Choice. Tour Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Later, enjoy a private cruise at the Summer Palace. Tonight, attend a Peking Opera show at Qianmen Liyuan Theatre, watch an exhilarating Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre or explore Silk Alley market. BL Day 3. Beijing, Great Wall of China. Visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China and enjoy a private buffet lunch overlooking the wall. Indulge in a Peking Duck banquet for dinner back in Beijing. BLD Day 4. Beijing, Yichang, Embark Ship. Transfer to the airport and fly to Yichang. On arrival, board your luxury river ship. Four Night Stay: the luxurious Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer. BLD Day 5. Xiling Gorge, Three Gorges Dam. Set off on your cruise along the Yangtze River through the stunning Three Gorges region. Pass through the longest of the Three Gorges, Xiling Gorge, then take a tour of the remarkable Three Gorges Dam. Indulge in the Captain's Welcome Dinner this evening, followed by an entertaining crew show. BLD Day 6. Shennong Stream, Wu Gorge, Qutang Gorge. In Badong, transfer to a traditional sampan (longboat) and cruise through stunning scenery. Continue to tranquil Wu Gorge, and pass between two majestic cliffs on entry to Qutang Gorge. BLD Day 7. Fengdu OR Relocation Tour. This morning, you can participate in a Tai Chi class atop the Observation Deck. After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Fengdu, or take a 'Relocation Tour' and learn about the impact of the Three Gorges Dam project on local families and farms. In the afternoon, you may like to attend a Chinese brush painting and calligraphy demonstration, learn how to play Mahjong, learn some Mandarin, or enjoy a dumpling making session. Tonight, savour the Emperor's Farewell Dinner, a Chinese banquet feast, and perhaps participate in some entertainment by dressing up with the crew. BLD Day 8. Chongqing, Disembark Ship, Guilin, Freedom of Choice. Disembark your ship in Chongqing and head to the famous Chongqing Zoo to view the rare Giant Pandas. Visit a local restaurant for an authentic hotpot lunch before transferring to the airport for your included flight to Guilin. This evening, choose to dine at Li Café or Shang Place. Two Night Stay: Guilin, Shangri-La Hotel, in a Deluxe River View Room. BLD Day 9. Guilin. Soak up the tranquillity of the picturesque Li River as you cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. After lunch on board, disembark for a visit to peaceful Yangshuo, bordered by spectacular karst peaks and the majestic Li River. Tonight, enjoy a dinner of the region's authentic rice noodles. BLD Day 10. Guilin, Xi'an, Freedom of Choice. Travel out to the Reed Flute Cave, named after the reeds growing outside the cave which were used, many years ago, in the making of flutes. Later, visit Fubo Hill before boarding a flight to Xi'an. For dinner this evening, choose from an authentic Brazilian barbecue at Churrasco, a Western buffet at Azur or Chinese cuisine at Le Chinois. Two Night Stay: Xi'an, Sofitel Renmin Square.
