TAKE A TRIP THROUGH HISTORY
This unique, fully restored four-coach train
features a refined historical design. On board,
a yesteryear style flows through each carriage
to the handicraft shop, panoramic lounge room,
old-style coffee bar and even the open-air
terrace. The old-world charm of this train
will make this journey even more memorable.
FANTASTIC LOCAL CUISINE
During your journey, you'll sample dishes
that are distinctive to each region, or enjoy
more familiar western favourites. Thanks to
the amazing soil, Ecuadorian produce is simply
outstanding. With flavours that leap off the
plate, the cuisine itself is quite varied, given the
Spanish, Brazilian and even Mexican influence.
THE DEVIL'S NOSE
Connecting the Alausà and Sibambe stations,
The Devil's Nose in the Chanchan Valley is
possibly the most spectacular part of your rail
journey. Climbing some 500 metres over just
12 kilometres, this section of the track involves
a series of incredibly engineered switchbacks,
and offers some truly captivating views.
