Welcome to the World
of Small Ship Cruising
About 20 years ago, I boarded my first small ship on a Kimberley coast expedition
cruise. Seeing the huge rise and fall of the tide, one of the largest in the world,
as well as the magnificent waterfalls, was ideal aboard a small ship. From the moment
I stepped on board, I thought there is simply no better way to explore the world.
Our small ships give us the ability to easily slip away from the pack to get closer for
a more in-depth experience. Be instantly whisked ashore in a Zodiac and step off in
the centre of a small town for coffee at a seaside cafe. No hurry, no crowds. What's more, not having to wait to
embark your ship each time means more time exploring (and relaxing).
The wonderful onboard crew will learn and call you by your name. They will soon learn your favourite drink and
whether you have coffee or tea in the morning. You soon get to know the staff and they get to know you, becoming
part of the onboard family. This is just one of the many special privileges of travelling on a small ship.
It's still a most interesting world out there, and our Cruise Directors and Expedition Teams are committed to ensuring
your voyage of discovery is unforgettable. I hope the small ship itineraries in this brochure prove inspiring for you.
