Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. (Day 2: B, L, D) DAYS 3-4: SIEM REAP Rise early to explore the amazing temples of Angkor, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and the magnificent Angkor Wat. The next day, take a private boat ride, sailing past the floating villages along Tonle Sap. Continue to the less-frequently visited temple of Beng Mealea, enjoying a picnic lunch. (B, L, D) DAYS 5-6: SIEM REAP TO PHNOM PENH TO SAIGON Fly to Phnom Penh to explore the Royal Palace, the majestic Silver Pagoda, and the Emerald Buddha, then on to the National Museum. The next day, learn about the atrocities of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge at the emotional Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes. Visit Wat Phnom before leaving Cambodia and flying to Saigon, Vietnam. (B, L, D) DAYS 7-8: SAIGON – DAY TOUR TO MEKONG DELTA Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office to view the French colonial architecture. Visit to the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum and on to Ben Thanh Market. The next day, travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Explore by boat, passing stilt houses and local fish farms. Paddle through palm-lined canals in sampans and walk through the villages. (B, L, D) DAY 9: SAIGON Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, once housing entire underground villages during the American War in Vietnam. Travel to Tay Ninh to experience the midday service of the Cao Dai religion. (B, L, D) DAYS 10-11: SAIGON TO HOI AN Fly to Danang and stop by the Marble Mountains en route to Hoi An. Walk the ancient streets lined with Chinese traders' homes and local shops and explore the Japanese Covered Bridge. The next day, drive to Tra Que, a small village supplying the nearby restaurants with fresh produce. Enjoy lunch in the village before continue to Cua Dai beach. (B, L, D) DAY 12: HOI AN TO HUE Drive over the scenic Hai Van Pass, passing the fishing village of Lang Co on the way to Hue and take a cyclo ride to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City.
