Meet your Tour Manager in the hotel lobby at 6:00 p.m. for dining suggestions. DAY TWO: Boston City Tour and Harbor Lunch Cruise This morning, you will take a panoramic city tour of Boston, the birthplace of American Freedom. See the Freedom Trail with the Old and New State Houses, Paul Revere House and the Boston Common. Then, you will take to the water for a cruise through Boston's Inner and Outer Harbors. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet on board while your narrated cruise sights include the USS Constitution, Old North Church, Boston Light and the Boston Harbor Islands. Later, you will travel up the Atlantic coast to Portland, Maine. (L) DAY THREE: Casco Bay Cruise and Portland Museum of Art Maine's rocky shoreline and wooded islands come into view today as you board your boat for a scenic cruise of Casco Bay. Sail past the lovely Victorian cottages nestled along the shores of Little and Great Diamond Islands. Watch for lobstermen and local fishing fleets, as well as abundant sea birds, seals and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will visit the Portland Museum of Art, which contains more than 17,000 works of art and features works by American artist Winslow Homer, as well as pieces by Picasso, Renoir, Monet and more. Tonight, dinner is at one of Portland's unique bayside restaurants. (B, D) DAY FOUR: Maine Eastern Railroad and Camden Hills State Park Today you will climb aboard the Maine Eastern Railroad. The restored streamlined stainless steel railcars from the Art Deco era of the 1940s and 1950s have been fully rebuilt to today's standards of safety and comfort. Enjoy some of Maine's most breathtaking seascapes and historic highlights of the 57-mile route between Brunswick and Rockland from the expansive windows of the climate-controlled coaches. In Camden Hills State Park, you will drive to the 800-foot summit of Mount Battie for a panoramic view of beautiful wooded hillsides and Maine's rugged coast. Later, you will stop for dinner in Woolwich before returning to the hotel. (B, D) DAY FIVE: Conway Scenic Railroad and Kancamagus Scenic Byway Leaving the coast today, you will travel west into New Hampshire's White Mountains. In North Conway you will board the Conway Scenic Railroad for a journey through the White Mountains and enjoy the scenery of the Mt. Washington Valley countryside. Relive a part of railroad history when the first train traveled through this region, over 130 years ago. Tonight you will enjoy dinner in this quaint mountain town. (B, L, D) DAY SIX: Kancamagus Scenic Byway and Quechee Gorge This morning, you will travel the Kancamagus Scenic Byway as it follows a beautiful path through the White Mountains. It is one of the world's most spectacular fall foliage trips, where a stunning spectrum of color underscores the region's natural beauty year-round.
