Day 5. Dawn Breakfast Cruise, Kununurra. Journey to the beautiful Nitmiluk National Park and delight in a Dawn Breakfast Cruise through Katherine Gorge. A guide will highlight the region's rich flora and fauna for a truly immersive experience. Travel across the border into Western Australia and on to Kununurra. Stay: Kununurra Country Club Resort. BD Day 6. Purnululu National Park, Echidna Chasm. Travel to Purnululu National Park, home of the famous beehive domes of the spectacular Bungle Bungle Range. Journey along Spring Creek Track into the heart of this World Heritage-listed national park. Walk to Echidna Chasm along a Livistona palm-fringed trail on a hike widely regarded as one of the best in Australia. Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge. BLD Day 7. Purnululu National Park, Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge. Embrace the opportunity to experience an optional helicopter flight over the national park (own expense). Mitchell Falls, Helicopter Flight. Discover the beauty of one of Australia's most spectacular waterfalls. When available, local Aboriginal guides will join you to tour this area. Hike to Mitchell Falls and beyond to visit Little Merten and Big Merten Falls. A special helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls is included and is highly recommended for a fascinating perspective of these beautiful falls. Alternatively, you can hike back to your vehicle with your guide. Longer flights over this stunning region are available at an additional charge. BLD Day 12. Mitchell Plateau, King Edward River. View the Kimberley's unique and intriguing Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw Art) at a rarely seen gallery on the banks of the upper King Edward River. Visit the ancient Wandjina rock art gallery, followed by a refreshing swim at King Edward River Crossing. Stay: Drysdale River Station, Kalumburu Road. BLD Day 13. Barnett River Gorge, Galvans Gorge. Journey to the beautiful Barnett River Gorge to see the rock art and take a swim. Enjoy lunch before travelling to Galvans Gorge, where a short walk leads to a stunning waterhole. Back on the Gibb River Road, travel to Bell Gorge, where rugged cliffs surround a series of tiered waterfalls.
