As the sun breaks at Anzac Cove, take part in the sombre occasion of the traditional Anzac Day Dawn Service and commemorate our fallen ancestors at 5.30 am. Bear witness to the moving service in remembrance of the ANZACs who stood on the same ground 99 years ago. For those who wish, take the opportunity to walk to Lone Pine for the Australian service (please note that this can be a difficult 2.5 kilometre walk of around one hour on both flat and uphill pathways). Alternatively, view the Australian service from your position at Anzac Cove via telecast on the big screen. Then, perhaps attend the New Zealand service at Chunuk Bair. This evening, you'll return to Istanbul. Stay: Istanbul, Old City Hagia Sophia Hotel or similar. BD Day 7 (Sat. 26 April), Istanbul, Budapest.
